Cultural Center Živa is located in New Belgrade, and to get there you can walk over Branko’s bridge and walk in a straight line for some 5km OR take one of the buses from Zeleni Venac (17, 72, 75, 77). It’s a bit out of the way, as New Belgrade is not known for its night life but KC Živa was a much welcome addition to the cultural scene of Belgrade, and it’s definitely worth your time.

Živa is a multidisciplinary venue, organising art exhibitions, film screenings as well as really nice parties, ranging from electronic and techno to psy trance, experimental and hip hop. Perhaps one of the most interesting facts about this spot that it found its home in a bunker, therefor the mobile network inside is limited (less distraction from the music) and they also don’t have to worry about the noise as they are located in a residential neighbourhood so the party goes on until early morning.

Inside, you’ll find the big room where most activities/parties happen, a smaller room where you can sit a bit and chill, the bar (water is free!) and a small hallway area. After you’ve had an amazing night filled with great sounds at KC Živa, I suggest walking back to the city center in the morning, the whole way or part of the way, to get to experience walking over Branko’s bridge at dawn or early morning.
