A music school, a big park, a small curvy street, a bunch of trees, and a homemade chocolate brownie (with zucchini!) served with a scoop of ice cream and fresh fruit. And that’s a wrap! Or just the first of many visits I made (and I’m still making) to this amazing coffee and cake place.

It opened back in the summer of 2022 less than 5 minutes from where I live and it’s owned by this adorable couple, Marko and Sonja, who also work there. The interior is amazing, with great attention to detail, there is outdoor space where you can sit on two sides (so you get more sun) and it’s just across the road from a local music school so if your timing is right you will have live music as well to accompany the best carrot cake you ever tried. They make the cakes themselves every day and say that they are trying to make them tasty but not too sugary. There is no set menu when it comes to sweets, what they make that day is what you get. I tried 5 different cakes so far and all were very tasty.

It’s just next to a huge park area that people don’t usually visit cause it’s not in the city center but this place combined with the park and a bunch of cute houses around is reason enough to take that 45-minute walk from the city center and indulge yourself.
