A welcome addition to the vintage clothes scene of Belgrade, Pinklla opened its doors in early 2023 and since then has been brightening up the lives of everyone in Dorćol. I’m all for circular economy and that’s one of the reasons I buy secondhand. The other reason is moneeey. I usually avoid vintage stores as they tend to be quite pricey but the stuff you will find in Pinklla is very reasonably priced!

The person who you will probably meet when you visit is Jelena, the owner of the place who also works there. She is super sweet, always welcomes you with a smile on her face, and is more than happy to help you out with fashion advice or to recommend an article. Most of the pieces you will find there were made with women in mind but I am of the opinion that if something fits and looks good on you, it’s for you, regardless of your gender. Case in point – I bought 3 shirts there and at least 2 would not be considered male couture. I like shapes, colors, and flowery patterns and those are not usually found in pieces made for men. Their tagline is ‘Pre-selected, pre-loved and pre-washed’ which means if you are running late to a party and need a statement piece, Pinklla has your back!

While there, make sure you stop by Popy – one of my favorite places in the city, and grab a cup of coffee or a nice smoothie. It’s right next to Pinklla!.
