Walking around Dorćol is something you must do when in Belgrade, it is a neighborhood with beautiful architecture and cobalt streets. And if you come to the corner of Cara Dušana and Kralja Petra you will find one of the oldest confectioneries in Belgrade, (appropriately named) Dorćol.
We should really protect places like this from disappearing. And you can be helping!
With a nice selection of sweets and cakes (all made with love I’m sure) and simple interior, which I’m positive has barely changed since it was opened (pay attention to the chairs!), it is a great place to take a break and eat something sweet.
Not far from the city center, you just go down until you hit the big street which is Cara Dušana. You can take a piece of cake (or share it with a friend, which I usually do) and lemonade and all of that for under € 2 / 200 dinars.
And two doors down is grilled fish store if you decide that first, you need something savory.
