Yes, we all know the deep frier is not necessarily the healthiest cooking tool BUT if you’re gonna do it, do it right, and Goldies does exactly that.
Instead of reaching for the nearest imbiss for a quick pommes fix when that craving hits, why not walk a little further and treat yourself to something unique?
Goldies is to kiosk fries what craft beer is to dive bars. Their fries on their own stand up for themselves but the real deal comes in their menu, serving up flavour combinations you might not have thought of yourself. Miso-Furikake, Truffel mayo, fries Elsässer style, Peking duck, not to mention arguably the best fried chicken dishes I’ve found in Berlin.
They really don’t skimp on the sizes either so if you’re more of a value-for-money kinda diner, it’s still worth your while.
Whether you’re in need of bolstering a night of drinking in nearby So36 or other bars in the area, or you just want to see what possibilities exist for bringing new life into a popular street food, Goldies is well worth stopping by!
