Many salad places advertise the freshness of their products – but it is impossible to beat GOOD BANK in this regard. At this restaurant, the leaves do not come from a field; instead, you can watch your greens grow right behind the bar, inside tall glass boxes. Vertical Farming is on the rise – and GOOD BANK is the first in the world to incorporate the concept into a restaurant.
After harvest, those fresh leaves are then used to create a variety of salads. You can choose one of their own compositions or just pick and mix by yourself. For those who don’t like salad, GOOD BANK also offers warm bowls, soups and sandwiches.
I honestly never thought I would pay this much for “just a salad”. But everything that I’ve tried so far has been extremely delicious, so I keep coming back. My highlight is their truffle dressing, which makes everything taste even better.
Unfortunately, the small, minimalistic restaurant isn’t extremely cozy. I am especially not a big fan of watching myself in the mirror while I am eating… In summer, GOOD BANK does provide some nice tables outside, otherwise you could always opt for take-away.
