Sometimes you need a little break from buzzing Berlin. Liquidrom is the perfect place to relax from stressful workdays or just a busy tourist schedule.
What is remarkable about this urban spa is its architecture, which was inspired by a circus tent. Liquidrom’s main attraction, the saltwater floating pool, is located in an underground dome-shaped hall. It makes for an almost spiritual atmosphere. Just lay back and float, experience the weightlessness and listen to the music played underwater.
Liquidrom also offers all kinds of different saunas: from a mild hammam up to the scolding 90-degree Finnish sauna with different infusions and programs offered every hour. Please note: as is common in Germany, clothing of any kind is not permitted in the saunas.
Liquidrom is a rather small place, so it can get crowded easily. In the frequent case in which there are too many guests inside, you might have to wait a little bit before being allowed to enter. If you can, it is recommendable to come either on a weekday or early on the weekend to make the best of your visit.
