I’ve gotten a bit lazy about venturing out to new Italian places for dinner. Why? Because there are loads of them but not as many good ones. I’m a bit picky, not only about the food but the atmosphere.
So I was REALLY happy when I discovered that just around the corner from moi – right next door to one of my favorite pizza places – there it was; warm, candlelit, cozy, colorful and ultimately delicious.
It’s perfect for two to four people (bigger groups might be a bit tight) and a craving for an intimate bottle of wine. They serve mostly pasta –delightful pasta- small salads and antipasti.
Surrounding the small wooden tables there are colorful baby clothes –yes baby clothes- typewriters and bottles of wine. And it all blends in beautifully with the delectable flavors and every sip of wine.
There is really not much more I can say about it. Just that it will not remain a secret for long. So make reservations before you go. And if you’re more in the mood for an informal pizza, try Pomodorino next door. They’re part of the same family.
