At Toca Rouge, you can try delicious Chinese Fusion cuisine but also experience the (probably) most photographed toilet of Berlin. This place screams cool: black chairs, black floors, black walls. The only colorful accents are a big street art painting and a pink bike hanging on the wall.
But despite its fancy interior, Toca Rouge is quite affordable, especially considering the quality of the dishes served. My favorite starters are “Scrabble Patrick” (tuna tartar with avocado, horse-radish wasabi cream and a quail egg) and “Deepthroat Avocado” (prawn with avocado and a delicious sauce on a rice cracker) – although the latter is quite messy to eat, it’s so worth it!
However, you might wanna visit the bathroom to wash your hands after eating this, which is an experience in itself. Behind an all-black door, you will find a mirrored room. The ceiling is filled with countless colorful lamps, flashing to the beat of the music. I have yet to meet anyone who wasn’t at least tempted to take a selfie here!
