I discovered Zio Felix three or four years ago when we went there for a friend’s birthday. At that time, they had very little competition in the area. Since then, Schillerkiez has started to boom and lots of competition has popped up, but Zio Felix still holds its ground, speaking well for itself.
I’m a big fan of places that do one thing and do it well. That’s Zio Felix. It’s not always the speediest service, but that never really bothers me. I know their pizza is made with love, and I have yet to be disappointed. I’ve worked my way through their whole menu, but my favorite pizza is the pear with walnut and gorgonzola. But it’s all good. And I definitely recommend sharing different ones if you’re a crowd.
I like coming here to fill up after a day out on Tempelhofer Feld, but so does everyone else. It’s a small location, so definitely book ahead if you want to snatch a table.
