Namaste India Restaurant is located right next to the tram station in the quarter named Monbijou. I study near there, so this restaurant has become my go to lunch place.
What I really like about Namaste India Restaurant is the lunch buffet, where you can serve yourself. There are different dishes every day and they offer both meat and vegetarian choices. There is a large box that can be filled with food. Would you rather bring your own container? No problem — the employees have no objections.
In addition to the large portion, you get a free naan bread. The menu only costs ten francs for students! Sometimes the portion is so big and filling, it’s not only my lunch but also my dinner. The food is spicy and very tasty. When I think about it, I get hungry again. 🙂
Are you looking for a spot that offers delicious, warm food to go and allows you to bring your own food container? I can highly recommend Namaste India Restaurant!
