Bishkek local? Help us start a blog for your city!

Bishkek (by Irene Strong)

One of the next city guides we would like to launch as part of our fight against overtourism is Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan!

Unfortunately, to most travelers, Bishkek (and Kyrgyzstan in general) is either surrounded by misconceptions or a complete mystery, which is a shame because it has a lot to offer. We know that there is plenty to love about Bishkek, and we need your help to prove this to the rest of the world!

Bishkek Bazar (by Irene Strong)

Bishkek has some of the most beautiful parks and mountains in the world, bazaars full of wonderful things and people, and so much more. However, most foreigners know next to nothing of Bishkek and its rich culture, which is why we are turning to you. We want you to tell stories of your experience living within this fascinating city. We need you to help others learn of its beauty.

So what is it like to experience Bishkek like a local? Where can you get the best coffee or local Beshbarmak? Where do locals relax or celebrate? This is what we and many travelers want to know!

Are you a Bishkek loving local?

We aim to show visitors (and locals!) the real culture of Bishkek beyond the tourist highlights. We are looking for locals who’d like to share their passion and spread the word about Bishkek by blogging about their favorite spots. Browse around our current 80+ city blogs and learn more about our amazing community & vision!
