Amman local? Help us start a blog for your city!

Amman (by Hisham Zayadnh)

One of the next city guides we would like to launch as part of our fight against overtourism is Amman, the capital of Jordan!

Unfortunately, to most travelers, Amman (and Jordan in general) is either surrounded by misconceptions or a complete mystery, which is a shame because it has a lot to offer. We know that there is plenty to love about Amman, and we need your help to prove this to the rest of the world!

Amman Citdael (by Hisham Zayadnh)

Amman is an extremely interesting city, wherein antiquity coexists with modernity. Old ruins, like the Amman Citdael and Roman Theatre, tell a lot of this city’s roots and remind us of its rich history. These are but a few of this city’s highlights. While they certainly are impressive, they tell only a small fragment of this city’s story. A city is nothing without its people, which is why we want to focus on the people, on locals like you, on your stories and experiences within this wonderful place.

So what is it like to experience Amman like a local? Where can you get the best coffee or local Mansaf? Where do locals relax or celebrate? This is what we and many travelers want to know!

Are you an Amman loving local?

We aim to show visitors (and locals!) the real culture of Amman beyond the tourist highlights. We are looking for locals who’d like to share their passion and spread the word about Amman by blogging about their favorite spots. Browse around our current 80+ city blogs and learn more about our amazing community & vision!
