Šarūnas Andriušaitis is one of our spotters from Vilnius. His name actually comes from the Lithuanian word “šarus”, which means quick.
We have been fortunate to meet Šarūnas many times, on Spotters weekends and other occasions… He’s quick (co-founder Bart ran 10k with him in Vilnius and was beaten). But if we would name him, I think it would be something like “trustworthy”, “philosopher”, “kind-hearted” or “lover of life”…

This is the oldest market in Vilnius! You can by a wide range of items here including fresh produce, spices, clothes, and shoes. It also hosts a few eating spots, but Šarūnas recommends the bagels at Beigelistai!

Right next to the train tracks you will find Peronas. A bar and an event space for the traveling souls, there’s more than enough taps of beer to bring the whole train station out of soberness!

This walk-through was named in honor of the iconic Jonas Mekas. It is a shortcut from Užupis to the Sereikiškių park. What Šarūnas enjoys about it is that its a little part of urban disorder to discover!
