There are a lot of reasons that people visit The Pour House: the central Back Bay location, the eccentric decorations (think baroque art plus mannequins plus graffiti), the jovial Bostonian camaraderie you’ll find inside. Oh yeah, another big reason is hangovers; colossal, throbbing hangovers where you feel like you’re probably going to lie on the couch groaning all day if you don’t get a massive amount of eggs and bacon inside you ASAP.
There is no better place to recover after a night out (besides in bed, in the fetal position) than over a huge Pour House breakfast while you lament your bad decisions. Additionally, said breakfast provides a huge bang for your buck, which, as a struggling millennial, makes The Pour House the place to be (for me, at least). For example, their Monday Brunch (12-3PM) offers half-price breakfast – meaning you can get a plate of pumpkin pie pancakes for $3.75. Hungover or not, who can resist that?
