Authentically good restaurants are not easy to find in Bratislava. Of course you want to avoid tourist traps in the city center, but even apart from that, you can feel the prevalence of big commercial restaurants, which although offer good quality food, miss some individual charm, personal touch of the owner or nice atmosphere.
This is what I was so surprised and happy to find in this small bistro on the edge of the city center. It is rather inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior design with its oriental elements is really worked through and immediately enchants visitors.
The restaurant has an excellent chef, who cooks delicious foods from all cuisines around the world, very kind and professional waiters, and food and drinks served in beautiful plates and glasses.
It is hard to find anything to reproach this place for. One unusual thing is that they don’t have a written menu and prefer to explain the daily selection to customers directly, yet you don’t need to be afraid – the prices are very reasonable and you will definitely get more than you expect. And it is just another thing that makes this small bistro special.
I would particularly recommend coming for their imaginative lunch menu (the daily offer is published before lunchtime on their Facebook page) or a romantic dinner in the evening.
