Blind Pig is a real hidden gem. Do not be fooled by the given address: the entrance is from the side of the river Danube. The interior of this bar looks somewhat like an ancient cellar, but to me, Blind Pig has a punk atmosphere. Drinks could be given to you through hidden window in a wall and Blind Pig itself advertises a bourbon poured out of the radiator! The design is random, with different tables and couches and a big poster and signs and little memorabilia and books everywhere.
Blind Pig serves beer and coffee but the main attraction is the drinks. The theme of this bar was inspired by the prohibition, which according to them means a lot of different drinks. This sense of humor translates to the bar itself. During the summer, you can sit on the outside terrace under the vines and lights, but even inside you have enough space, so it never feels crowded.
As a bonus, I can tell you that a couple of my friends “had to” stay in Blind Pig during a big storm and they were allowed to play music of their own choice, so if you ask politely maybe you could do it too.
