We’re lucky to have more and more authentic international cuisine restaurants in Bratislava. Kerala, just down the stairs from Hodzovo namestie, is surely one of them. Although based in a modern glass building, the interior with its typical furniture and bright colors transports you to an Indian atmosphere, and the 100% Indian staff just completes the scene.
Let’s talk about the offer. For €6.50 (or €5.50 for the vegetarian option), during the week between 11:00 – 15:00, you can enjoy a nice lunch menu made up of soup, main dishes, dessert and water. There is also the possibility to have the two options mixed.
The funny thing is that even if a new menu is published each day, it always retains its regular form. You’ll always have a portion of rice accompanied by some vegetable stews or curries, yogurt dips, fried vegetables or an omelet and an Indian pancake. When Ganesh opened and I was not familiar with the concept yet, I just curiously passed by, observing the colorful dishes, wondering – hey, didn’t I see this yesterday? But don’t worry – even if you might have some flashbacks, you’ll start to recognize the subtle details very soon.
For a more romantic atmosphere you might prefer to visit Ganesh for the a la carte menu in the evening or over the weekend.
