In one of the oldest neighborhoods of Bratislava, residential housing, called 500 flats, was built in the 50s. It is a nice and quiet place with typical brick houses and a community center. It is not far away from the bus station. When visiting Mileticka market (check the Mileticka market article) or Medicka garden (check the Medická záhrada article) Nostalgia is a place to stop to have a lunch or a glass of wine.
In this dog friendly and non smoking restaurant you can have a pizza, pasta or some meat meals. I recommend Filetto de maiale which is pork tenderloin filet with mushroom risotto and grilled vegetable. They serve slovak wines and czech beer. During the summer there is a terrace outside. They are equipped with projector, so when it is actual they stream UEFA champions league or ice hockey world championship.
Both restaurant and the next door cinema are named Nostalgia. So you can have a nice evening and combine dinner and a movie. Check the program here and enjoy the spirit of classic cinema.
