Palacinka Lacinka is my sin spot. I am there so often that I think I am addicted. It is kind of a ritual to have a break at work and go for a pancake. Actually I think the better word is crepe, because crepes do not contain baking powder or baking soda for leavening. These crepes have the classic rolled up shape.
For a basic crepe – without ingredients, you won’t pay more than 30 cents. And I am sure you will stand there and be lost as you’re choosing a salty one or sweet one and wondering what to add. As a result of that indecision, you will not pay more than € 1 for two pieces.
They have more than thirty sweet fillings. My favourite is nougat, raspberry jam, curd with grapes and their special offer called “posoniensis”. I prefer salty crepes when I am really starving as they do not remind me of dessert but more of a main dish. The ingredients are e.g. sheep’s cheese, vegetable or roquefort cheese.
As a drink I recommend milk, slipslop or kofola. Once you have finished, write or draw something on the paper plate and put it on the notice board. There you can read the messages from others while you’re waiting for your order.
