It’s good to have a favorite pancakes place in each city, as you don’t always feel like waking up and preparing them yourself, isn’t it? To satisfy my occasional cravings for pancakes, I choose Pan Cakes. Not only for their pancakes, which are always freshly prepared on order and therefore never disappoint, but also their awesome Americano that accompanies them perfectly. Sometimes, when I’m not that hungry, I go there for the coffee alone and just have a small croissant with it.
Pan Cakes has a different atmosphere throughout the day with calm mornings, perfect to do some reading on a comfy sofa. From the breakfast menu, nothing beats their peanut butter and banana pancake, served with pears, maple syrup and a handful of peanuts. If you visit Pan Cakes during lunchtime, have some salty pancakes (I like tuna the most) with the soup of the day. As the evening approaches, the restaurant tends to get more filled and lively, therefore I’d recommended having a reservation.
