Only a few meters from Dóm svätého Martina, there is a cosy little wine bar Pinot u Bruna. It is a former burgess house, its ground floor was rebuilt to wine bar.
To enter you have to pass the terrace, which consists of 6 tables and a small yard with a weeping willow and a statue of Ján Hollý. It is sincerely peaceful and a quiet place. There is one unique thing about enjoying the view – you will not see any advertisement, billboard, signboard or anything disturbing it. I like to savour coffee and homemade cake during the day and local wines in the evening. They also serve Kaltenecker beer produced in the city of Rožňava. A really nice place to have a date or to spend a nice evening with friends.
The interior is simple and very nice. Kind staff will recommend you what to order because they do not have a menu. I could not resist the raspberry and banana cake. They offer also something small to eat: goose and duck paste, daily soup and fried mushrooms. But the most important is the wine selection: Hacaj, Hlubovic, Strekov, Dobry pocit, Marvla Tindo, etc.
A really nice place to chill.
