When going to an unknown city, I think one of the main challenges you encounter is that of finding a good pizza place. You never know when the need for a pizza comes, so you need to have a plan ready in order not to end up with some pizza disaster with a thick and dry crust. Given the number of restaurants offering this classic, it is not an easy job. So many pizzas you need to eat before finding the right one! It can even get dangerous for your waistline 🙂 I am happy that I can relieve you of this trouble by directing you towards Pizza Mizza in Bratislava.
Although its slogan says it is the biggest pizza in town, it is not so easy to spot. It is hidden in the small streets behind the Comenius University. There you’ll find the cosy place and hopefully get a table next to the stone oven, so you can observe your pizza coming out straight onto your table.
I surely recommend ordering the big version of the pizza to share with a friend – the big one is much better as it has an even thinner crust and seemingly lower share of borders 🙂 The classic Italian Bufala is the best! Also, their tomato soup with panini sticks is very popular. And don’t be lazy by ordering a take-away – nothing compares to a fresh crispy pizza!
