Pod Kamenným stromom – Cosy bar in the centre

You want me to tell you a secret? Pod Kamenným stromom is a secret place on Sedlárska street. Surrounded by welcome-stag-party-bad-boys-beer-tv-bars and an average kebab there is a passage with an open iron gate. Find the stairs on the left and jump in.

I like the white wooden stairs that take me down, despite knowing how difficult those will be going back out :). The first room is equipped with 5 wooden tables, a bookcase and an amazing simple bar run by nice owner Marek and his helpers. They play great music, serve excellent Bernard beer made by Family brewery in Humpolec, save lives by preparing brawn, pork scratchings, pickled cheese and seasonal dishes. Marek has chosen the best distillery brand so I recommend you try a shot of apricot, pear or elderflower. This is a non smoking room.

I like to smoke in the other one, which has a place to stand and smoke if all tables are occupied. This room ends at the toilets, where the floor is made up of handmade cement tiles with authentic patterns.

It can also be nice to visit their terrace in the courtyard, open until 22:00, but I prefer to sit downstairs until the end.
