Finally it is not necessary to go to the centre to find a fine bar. Viecha is very popular among the locals from the neighborhood around Mileticka market.
What I like very much is the “tapas bar” atmosphere – it’s never empty and sometimes hard to find a place to sit, but you know first-come first-served or make a reservation. Local wine producers (not more than 50 km from Bratislava) definitely have an interesting offer. If you are not sure ask the owner or the staff for advice. I have tried Víno Matula and Chowaniec & Krajčírovič, both from Svätý Jur. Small dishes can be priceless to delay the wine effect. Wine compatible are the bruschettas, olives and cheese or paté.
Doesn’t matter if it is terrace, bar or indoor seating the atmosphere is pleasant everywhere. If you are lucky there will be a live concert or DJ playing.
Second spot “Viecha” was opened at Radlinskeho street nr. 24
P.S. beer is also available
