You will probably stumble upon Carturesti Carusel on your own. After all, it is this amazing white XIX century house right in the Old Centre. The window displays will easily let you know that you are in front of a very cool bookstore. So normally you would go in and explore on your own.
But, what if you’re tired and hungry and decide to keep moving down the street in search of a decent restaurant? Then I really need to let you in on my little secret: Bistro Carusel, located on the third floor. Because, even if it may seem weird to have lunch in a bookstore, I’m sure you will appreciate having a gourmet turkey sandwich and a pineapple lemonade while bathing in sunlight, looking down the spiral staircase of the all-white house filled with books and teapots.
I know I’ve already won you over and I could stop here. But still, I’ll also add that they have daily lunch menus, raw cookies, designer items on modular wooden crates decorating the place, books for you to browse and cute waiters.
