The Vietnamese cuisine, even though it’s famous in the whole world, landed in Romania only recently, not many years ago. There are a few good restaurants, but the Li-Wu on Stefan cel Mare Way is the one where I had the best experience. The place is comfortable, but don’t expect more than a classic fast food setup.
Of course, the Pho soups are the main attraction. The Romanian cuisine uses lots of fats for soups, and they’re great (a traditional soup here counts as a meal), but the fresh, clear and tasty Pho is something exotic and balances what we’ve grown used to and expect.
I like this place because they cook almost everything on the spot (there are places with precooked and then heated portions) and because they offer delivery. You can get Chinese food delivered almost around the clock, but this is one of the few offering this for Vietnamese food. You should not miss the Duck with Vietnamese vegetables and the Nam Bo beef.
