A burger joint with not your regular quarter-pounders. They have even stopped delivery services because they don’t want people to eat an altered version of their craft. Now that the burger royalty is right there!

They do not have a million options (and I absolutely love that) because every burger has ingredients matched to perfection starting from the thyme and garlic toasted sourdough bun.

We tested and loved everything on the menu!

– Classic burger: 2x smash patties of fresh local beef, cheddar, tomato, lettuce, and mayo pickle sauce;
– Italian burger: 2x smash patties of fresh local beef, mozzarella, tomato, arugula, and mayo with homemade basil pesto;
– Korean burger: 2x smash patties of fresh local beef, Gochujang sauce (a red chili paste, a spicy fermented condiment used in Korean traditional dishes), mozzarella, mayo, lettuce, red onion;
– Truffle burger: 2x smash patties of fresh local beef, Romanian aged cheese, grilled red onion, black truffle mayo, black truffle butter. This one was the showstopper, one of our friends started singing after the first bite.

They are now in a bigger location (they used to sell burgers out of a van till recently) and share the “food court” with Ironic Taproom so you have all kinds of craft beers at your disposal in the same spot!

Given the spot is in the dead center of Bucharest, you can reach it easily by all means of public transport and it’s within walking distance from the Old Town and Calea Victoriei – another hotspot of the city.
