Milu Cafe – For better and for worse

Milu Cafe is one of those places with a story to write home about. Located downtown and named after the owners, Dan and Smaranda Milu, it is a quaint little place, with ’70s Romanian living room-style decoration and sells exceptional gourmet coffee that is handpicked by the owners themselves.

You will never get just great coffee, which Dan already pays attention to in minute detail, building a whole universe around one tiny cup; you will get the opportunity to help. The cafe was set up out of passion for quality coffee, but also to sustain the costs for Smaranda’s cancer treatment.

This isn’t mentioned anywhere in the cafe, because what matters is the joy of life and the passion for quality, combined with a love for people, stories and the connections in-between. And these create the magic needed to ensure the treatment continues.
