Whenever I go to Nautilus, it reminds me not of the famous Jules Verne, but of the movie “You’ve Got Mail” and of the little shop around the corner. Except that it’s not around the corner. And there’s no Meg or Tom to steal the show.
But you can bet your money on the sweet little bookstore selling only books in English. Located in a residential area in Bucharest, it can almost go unseen, but it’s worth climbing down the few steps that take you down into book-land. There you’ll find basically all you need – from international literature bestsellers to memoirs and children’s books and games.
If you’re not exactly completely transformed into an e-book lover and you’re into cozy little bookstores in which, at some point, it’s only you and the authors’ souls visiting the place, then you’d have your own blissful moment here.
The great thing is that, if they don’t have a specific book in stock, they can order it and have it delivered for you. Happy reading!
