Just in case you didn’t know, back in the day, people used to call Bucharest “little Paris”. And this is what Ohlala Patisserie brings to the scene. A corner of Paris right in the center of Bucharest, a specific French pastry shop that wants to evolve into a French-Romanian fusion one in the future.
Schooled at the Ritz in Paris, Alina the owner is always at the shop at 6 AM to start making everything fresh, on her own, or with very little help (she wants to keep everything as perfect as possible). The place is larger than you would expect, very chic, with good background music, and with a cozy corner that will be just perfect for your Instagram pics!
From the many products they showcase the simple croissant here is unrivaled (it would be a shame to use any kind of filling for this one), the pain au chocolat is AMAZING and the choux Paris-Brest is rumored to be the best in Bucharest.
