Bucharest is full of places where you can get all sorts of fresh and delicious pastries, but at Rue Du Pain you can be sure only prime ingredients are used. Rue Du Pain is an artisanal boulangerie which has freshly made bread and French pastries every morning.
Here you feel like you’ve been transported to a boulangerie in the Latin Quarter in Paris. Rue Du Pain is a neighborhood café, situated in one of the cosiest neighborhoods of Bucharest, Floreasca, where you’ll also meet a lot of expats.
I love coming here, especially in late spring, because I can enjoy their delicious cakes, pastries, soups or quiches and salads outside in the sun, at one of the tables on the terrace, and watch people passing by with shopping bags from the market nearby or just wandering around the neighborhood.
