Concerto – Vinyl shop for classical nerds

Downloading digital music is getting a bit boring, touching (and looking at) things is cool again. The revival of vinyl is on, hipsters are listening to Arctic Monkeys on turntables. Still, perhaps they don’t know about Concerto, the vinyl shop that has been famous for its classical music repertoire for decades.

Economically classical music is dying, but Concerto insists to keep calm and sell classicals. Just like they did it from the very beginning in the heart of the seventh district. Back then the shop based its fame on selling Soviet imported records to Western countries. The policy of business didn’t change much: they sell rarities from all over the world – for little money by the way.

If you appreciate slow life movement you have to try the place. Not only because of the vinyls, but for the moments, when you wait in that tiny room until the shopkeeper puts on the record you just picked randomly…
