In the centre, in the middle of 7th district, you can find this cosy, comfortable restaurant which offers traditional Hungarian food at fair prices. Eating here is like going home to your grandma’s house for lunch. Even the place itself is designed like grandma’s kitchen. The atmosphere is really friendly, as is the service. It’s a perfect place for a lazy Sunday meal. In the summer you can also sit outside and drink a fröccs while waiting.
They offer the typical Hungarian dishes such as Hortobágy pencakes, goulash soup, chicken paprikas and various type of stew (14 different) from different meat types(beef, lamb, chicken, pork) and fish. Desserts also represents the most popular, must try ones: Hungarian Sponge cake (Somlói) or homemade curd cheese dumplings with cinnamon sour creme, which I highly recommend.
During weekdays they offer quite good daily menu. (3 course + drink).
I guess if you want to taste the real Hungarian dishes it is a “must go” place.
