Full disclosure: I’m a meat eater. “But Kalman, you black horse, you!” – you might recoil, dear reader – “what are you, a meat eater doing recommending a raw vegan restaurant?”
A fair question, dear reader. I have to admit I would never have gone to this place on my own – but recently I was taken by others. And I’m a big enough man to admit I was surprised, because it was, as it were, quite good. As the description makes it clear, it’s all raw vegan cuisine where the main dish is your selection of two or three… portions of raw vegan stuff on the same plate such as fake rice with curry, spinach filling in a zucchini roll or vegetable spaghetti (the pasta also being made of raw vegetables), with some cookies and the like and dessert – all raw and vegan, obviously. They take their theme seriously here.
And like I said, it’s all very nice. Also surprisingly filling, as it were, without the portions being oversized. If you want some really health-conscious cuisine that’s decidedly off the beaten path, you should certainly visit Mannatural.
P.S. I advise you to reserve a table when going for dinner.
