After a really hard day at work, me and my colleague were on our way home, desiring a glass of wine. The closest pub we found was Snaps, a tiny two-floor pub located in the sixth district. From the outside it is nothing special, but entering it has a calm atmosphere.
The whole place is dark, even during the day, decorated with old and retro band posters and mirrors. They always play old retro music as well. The seats are really comfortable sofas, you get the feeling you must lay down here. The owner is a nice guy, after couple of visits he knows what you drink. It once happened that he stopped us in the street and invited us inside, we told him we did not have any money on us, but he trusted us and told us we could pay next time.
Look, it is far from a fancy place, but not an ordinary pub as well, it has some special, alternative vibe, a friendly place visited by locals to have some good beers (the beers selection – Belgian & Czech beer offer- is quite out of the ordinary compare to other same level pubs), play table soccer or smoking shisa.
