Antique Taco Chicago

Antique Taco – Not your average tacos

Antique Taco is a unique taco spot that delivers some stellar and delicious bites! Sure it’s not “authentic” in the traditional sense of what a taco is supposed to be, but what they do is take amazing flavors and ingredients and whip them up into some delectable dishes that are arguably some unique and approachable eats.

Probably one of the most uniquely Midwest, but also Mexican item on the menu is their chili cheese curds. This delightful side or appetizer is deep fried goodness that everyone should be indulging in when you come here. Not feeling that decadent!? Fine, fine, well if you are looking for something a little lighter, try their fresh guac and chips or spicy and oh so cheesy habanero popcorn. Diving into taco territory, you’re not going to find any that are like the other, so dig into some seriously delicious seafood options with their shrimp or fish tacos, which are arguably both my faves, or get meaty with the pork carnitas or grilled ribeye.

Save room for dessert or wash down your food with a horchata milkshake! Adults can imbibe in their unique house rosemary margarita or their fresh agua fresca juices will satisfy any non-drinkers or kiddies in the group.

Check out their other locations at 1000 West 35th Street, Bridgeport or at the Revival Food Hall at 125 S. Clark Street, the Loop.
