About me
I’ve lived in or around Chicago my entire life before attending the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois. I developed a love of writing here while earning a degree in English literature. Currently I work as a content editor for Booking.com, spending my days looking after and creating property and destination content for the Midwest.

I really enjoy the simple things in life. Searching out unique dining experiences, running all over my neighborhood and city and traveling to the most unique spots in the world.

Why Chicago?
Frank Sinatra sang “Each time I roam, Chicago is calling me home”. Simply put, Chicago looks, smells and feels like home.

There isn’t another city that can feel as infinitely big and yet surprisingly small. The city has endless opportunities for truly unique dining, entertainment and cultural experiences. You can catch a White Sox game on the South Side, go to a show in the Theatre District or hit the beach in Uptown. This all takes place in a beautiful metropolis that is really a conglomeration of neighborhoods. The famed architecture and unique neighborhoods make just walking around a great experience. Even our historically brutal winters are made less dreary by all there is to do in the city.

I continue to live here because this city of neighborhoods is ever evolving but always familiar. It will always feel like home.
