Baker Miller just relocated to the heart of Lincoln Square in Chicago and they are busier than ever! Locals are driven to this bakery and cafe for their amazing grain-driven eats and treats.
Dave and Megan Miller are the owners who have an incredible passion not only about the food they create, but how they make it happen. Their team seeks out the best organic, non-GMO grains through a network of farmers, and mills these grains themselves to bake what ends up being some of the best pies, pastries and breads.
As I mentioned, they now are located along Lincoln Ave right off the Western Brown Line Stop making it easy for commuters to come in for a coffee and dough boy (their aaaaamazing donuts) or for families to sit down and have breakfast or brunch. With choices like biscuit sandwiches and benedicts, oatmeal that is so decadent it’s the unhealthiest healthy treat, as well as an amazing spreads bar with butters and jams that make any toast fancy, you really can’t go wrong.
My go-to is the ben (an amazing biscuit sandwich), but I have recently discovered a new menu item, the elotes grits which you should definitely add avocado to!
Things run out, so if you want to pre-order a pie or pastries for a special occasion you can do so through their website or by giving them a call.
