Candlelite Chicago Chicago

Candlelite Chicago – Far northside pizza

I first went to Candlelite with my pizza club years ago. I thought it was really good and my wife loved the pizza. We usually get the “Bringin’ the Heat” pizza, which has pepperoni, fresh jalapeƱos and pico de gallo. The crust on the pizza is cracker thin and really crisp – it’s delicious. Candlelite is also known for their burgers.

It is not an easy place to get to because it’s very far north of downtown – off of Western Ave near the Rogers Park neighborhood – but the pizza is the worth the trip. Once you get close it’s easy to spot because of their large Candlelite sign that has a martini glass on it. Because of the location, you will definitely find that the large majority of people there are locals.

The service is very friendly and prompt and they welcome families too – I’ve taken my baby there and they were very accommodating. If you want to watch a game on tv, they have many of those around the U-shaped bar. They are open late – until 02:00 or 03:00 every night and they deliver if you are feeling lazy.

I really enjoy Candlelite because of their great pizza and friendly service and try to stop in whenever I’m in the neighborhood.
