The rush of the holidays is over and if you’re anything like me you have attempted to keep a New Year’s resolution to go to the gym for a whole month… ugh. Clearly, we all deserve a break from our 2019 cleanses and diets, so I encourage you to check out Chicago’s Restaurant week happening January 25th – February 7th!
Every year restaurants all over the city offer special chef selected prix fixe menus starting at $22 for lunch and $33 or $44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). This is a DEAL folks! And, this year there are nearly 400 restaurants to choose from!
For me, the best part about Restaurant Week is the experience of trying specialties of the chef and trying new places that may be more expensive on a typical day when ordering items off the menu.
I highly recommend checking out the list of participating restaurants and the menus on the Chicago Things to Do Site and making reservations if they are available! Bon appetite!
