District Brew Yards – Self-serve beer hall

District Brew Years is the US’s FIRST brewery collective. This pour-your-own beer hall has over 40 taps for you to sample locally crafted brews in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

Currently, they have four unique breweries that work together to share ownership of the space and experience, so it’s like you can have a brewery crawl all under one roof. Each tap is pour-your-own so you can sample several beers and figure out what you like, then commit to your favorite to buy it to go or enjoy while you hang in their open communal space.

It is definitely all about the beer here, but you can also get some killer barbeque to pair with these refreshing libations. They smoke all of their meats in-house until they’re melt-in-your-mouth perfection. However you order up – sandwich, ribs, half pound and more – you can pair it with sides like mac ‘n’ cheese, coleslaw and other comfort classics.

Love what you tried, take it to go! You can load up on cans, merch from your favorite brewery and more in their shop.
