In the midst of “restaurant row” on West Randolph Street is this fantastic little burger bar. Grange Hall Burger Bar has a laid-back and fun atmosphere to drink some great craft beers and cocktails and enjoy a not-your-average burger.
Grange Hall takes pride in making great burgers that are drug-free, hormone-free, grass fed and fresh-ground. They also make use of seasonal and fresh ingredients for the entire menu from local family farms and ranches. With the resources they have they are able to provide a menu of seasonal customized burger options like “the Ultimate” topped with Muenster cheese, bacon, arugula, caramelized onions and horseradish aioli or you can build your own just the way you like it.
The best thing to get as a side or appetizer has to be anything that they fry, because let’s be honest, what doesn’t taste good fried? The rainbow dark chips and dip put all other french onion dips to shame. The buffalo fries are a great option for people who love spicy things. My personal favorite is hands down the fried pickles. Most times when you order fried pickles they are served as spears, but these round little fried greens pack some salty and savory flavors and are of course, totally dip-able!
If you saved room for dessert they have seasonal flavors for their homemade ice creams, milkshakes and pies. Personal recommendation: get a scoop of the brown butter ice cream :).
