Millie’s Supper Club – Old time Wisconsin

When you step into Millie’s Supper Club, you absolutely feel like you are leaving the Lincoln Park neighborhood and are time traveling back 50 years to the woods of Wisconsin. I’ll get to the food and drinks later, but I just can’t get over the vibe of this place.

There are leather tufted bar stools, neon lights, and wood accents throughout the bar and dining area. It’s tasteful and doesn’t feel overdone. Even better, the restaurant is named after the owner’s grandmother, who introduced him to the traditional supper clubs in Wisconsin.

I’ll stop obsessing over the interior now and get to the good stuff – food and drinks. As you can imagine, the menu is inspired by Wisconsin. This means that all of the beers on the menu are Wisconsin based, so don’t expect to find Coronas here. They have beers from craft breweries and also mass brewers like Miller Lite (from Milwaukee!).

You definitely get a ton of food for your money. While you are deciding what to order, everyone gets a relish tray and warm rolls (bonus points). Definitely try the cheese curds (I know, I’m recommending cheese curds again, but I can’t help it!).

There’s also a Tuesday special of any beer and a burger for $13. Now that’s a deal!
