Moneygun is a small bar attached to a diner-style restaurant just blocks from the Clinton green line stop. There are no big signs outside Moneygun and you have to walk through the restaurant to get inside, so it’s a bit hidden. When you do get inside, it’s typically dim and a bit crowded with 30-somethings coming from work.
Most of the bartenders have tattoos and there are a decent amount of hipsters milling about. The semi-circle bar and its unique lighting is the predominant feature inside. Patrons sit on barstools or in booths, while many stand. Opposite the bar is a wall of glass tiles, and on each tile is a different cocktail offered. The menu is small and focuses on cocktails, but offers nice selections, including a few small plates. Another unique thing is the glass jar with small Moneygun pins, free for the taking. A friend and I stopped by recently to check it out, and I suggest you do as well.
