Moody Tongue’s Tasting Room is not something you’re just going to discover as you explore the Pilsen neighborhood. In fact, it’s so hidden you have to pay attention to the address and ask yourself is this it, is this the door?  Once inside you’re welcomed into a mid-century modern space that feels like maybe it should be in a more high-traffic area of Chicago. However, their decorative accents and the coziness of the fireplace make this a true a neighborhood hidden gem to enjoy with a high level of service and attention to detail.

Moody Tongue’s Brewmaster has a culinary background so these are not your typical class of drinks, but rather unique and always complimentary to their focused food offerings. Explore your senses through tantalizing sours and robust stouts in a chill atmosphere. 

The food here is limited, but you’ll notice the one sweet item is their infamous chocolate cake. This is an experience in itself; the 4 people I was with and myself couldn’t finish it because of the decadent and many rich layers this cake has to offer. I HIGHLY recommend it, but please don’t finish it by yourself, or do so at your own risk! Enjoy a classy, chill and exciting new brewery experience when you check out Moody Tongue.
