This Lincoln Park staple combines great food with an entertaining, friendly atmosphere. During warm-weather months, this is my go-to spot – day or night. With a massive outdoor patio situated on Lincoln Park’s bustling Lincoln Avenue, enjoying pizza and drinks outside is made into a social event at Ranalli’s.
In the summer months, the patio gets packed; therefore, it’s always best to go early to steak your claim and grab a table. During the winter season, the restaurant offers a chic, comfortable indoor venue. Walls are lined with high-rise booth seating, along with smaller tall-boy table tops and standard bar tables. The restaurant’s bar is located in the center of the venue, offering easy access from all corners of the room.
With 27 flat-screen TVs throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces, Ranalli’s is a prime spot to post up for the day and watch a sporting event while eating and drinking amongst friends. For the ultimate game-day experience, the King’s Tap table is the spot to save. Featuring two beer taps, four large TVs and quirky art décor, the separate seating area offers seclusion among the comfortable, communal setting.
The icing on the cake (or, rather, the topping on the pizza) to this neighborhood favorite is the Hawaiian Pizza ($15.95) – thin crust, local ingredients and a whole lot of flavor combine to make this pizza worthy for the title of a true “Ranalli’s Special”.
