Southport Grocery – For the brunch lover

Southport Grocery is my go-to brunch spot. It’s a small restaurant only open until mid-afternoon that also doubles as a specialty grocery store (hence the name).

I have been here tons of times, and I can honestly say I’ve never ordered off their lunch menu because their breakfast is just SO good. A few of my favorites include their omelets, the breakfast sandwich, and the hash. You should also split omething from their “shareables” section to start, such as the bread pudding pancake, the grilled coffee cake, and the grown-up pop tart. Arrive hungry!

For fellow coffee lovers, they also put a pot of coffee on the table for unlimited refills, which is also locally brewed.

If you aren’t feeling like a full breakfast, you can always stop inside at the counter to look at their specialty grocery items (homemade jams and spreads!). They are a full service coffee shop too, so you can grab a coffee and cupcake to-go.

Fellow brunch lovers – give this place a try and let me know what you think!
