Maintaining its original name and art deco bar, Sportsman’s Club is a West Town neighborhood tavern and destination for cool cocktails with a vintage ambience. The original Sportsman’s Club was at this very same location and was a main hangout spot for Polish immigrants. The updates to this bar in 2013 have reinvigorated this historic spot into a chill place to meet for drinks with friends on evenings and weekends.
Their unique rotating cocktail menu features classically-inspired libations creatively crafted by their bartenders on a nightly basis. The intimate space is perfect for a date and a round of checkers in one of their sleek wooden booths, or you can meet up with large groups in the summer to enjoy their sprawling urban oasis back patio. Sunday nights are notorious in the summer for their barbecue series featuring notable local chefs serving up a limited number of meals with a drink for usually a flat rate of $20.
