This Middle Eastern counter-serve restaurant is the epitome of quality cheap eats. Sultan’s Market offers the best of Middle Eastern delicacies, including fresh, flavorful falafel and off-the-spick lamb shawarma.

Unlike other franchise fast-food Mediterranean restaurants, everything on the menu at Sultan’s Market is made from quality, traditional ingredients combined with authentic blends of herbs and spices. You’ll think you’re eating food made right from your home kitchen when you try the fresh baba ganoush and lentil soup (I mean, it’s even called “Grandma Zarifa’s Lentil Soup” – what is more authentic than that?).

The family-owned restaurant offers a selection of authentic made-to-order Mediterranean meats and sandwiches; however, it’s the create-your-own plate bar that takes the cake. I’ve been known to cash out the grilled cauliflower and homemade pita chips, but with over 30 ingredients – including meats, salads, dips and sides – there’s more than enough for everyone. The best part is, at only $5.99 per pound, your stomach and your wallet will stay full following a visit to the market.
